Bio: Dr. Robert Kleinbaum is a GM Technical Fellow focusing presently on EV Commercialization and Industrialization. He is a deeply experienced senior leader responsible for a wide range of analytic and strategy problems across multiple industries in the US and Internationally with a very strong record of results. His current focus is on how to commercialize electric vehicles in non-traditional ways, including vehicle-to-grid integration.
Dr. Kleinbaum has a PhD in Economics from the University of Michigan where he has also been a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics. He is also on the Executive Committee of the Cultural Change Institute (at the Fletcher school at Tufts University), and the author of a fascinating book: “Creating a Culture of Profitability, A Revolutionary Model for Managing Culture”
Abstract: General Motors (GM) is committed to zero emissions and to helping its customers, suppliers, and dealers do so as well. In this talk, Robert Kleinbaum discusses how electrification matters for all of us. He will also talk about what this means for GM internally and the profound changes required to achieve GM’s goals
