Presented by the Austin Forum

Speaker: Karl Popham, Austin Energy

What are the disruptive technologies, trends, and policies that are defining the future of the electric grid and its impact on you? What have we learned from recent hurricane activity? What is the status of Austin’s electric autonomous vehicles plan and transportation electrification program? What do we hope to accomplish with the US Department of Energy grant-funded Austin SHINES project?

Specific Austin-based programs will be discussed, with a “bigger picture” view on how they contribute to Energy & Smart Cities.

As always, the Austin Forum is free and open to the public. We look forward to seeing you!

Light refreshments and cocktails will be offered at the networking reception that follows the presentation.
