Bio:

At ResilientGridMike Legatt focuses on ensuring control room operators and IT/cyber analysts are set up for success from normal through to emergency situations, combining his PhDs in Energy Systems and Neuropsychology. Mike also co-founded and leads the Human Performance Community of Practice.

Abstract:

In addition to technical factors, human factors are critical for the grid. This ensures the primary source of grid resilience - humans - are successful in emergencies, keeping the lights on. This talk discusses real-time grid operations' human factors and resilience engineering aspects.
